Curbside pickup at our Whites Creek location and delivery to the greater Nashville is available.
Below are some measures that we are taking in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Through these measures we aim to make visiting Bates Nursery safe for customers and staff members alike.
The majority of our inventory is available online, and is current up to the minute.
-Online shopping: We are constantly working to expand the inventory showing on our website. You can now purchase vegetable and herbs online here. Online inventory is current up to the minute.
-Curbside pickup: We are now offering curbside pickup for all online and phone orders. You don’t even have to get out of your car! Order your plants and have them delivered directly to your car at our Whites Creek Pike location.
-Delivery: We deliver to the greater Nashville area, get plants, soils, and landscape supplies delivered directly to your door.
We are open for walk-in business to our open-air facility. While our outdoor plant nursery presents a relatively low risk for infection, we are taking abundant precautions to ensure the safety and health of our guests and our staff.
-Please wear a mask and observe all safe shopping procedures.
-Please maintain a 6' distance from staff and other shoppers at all times.
-If you are shopping with children and/or pets, please keep them close to you.
-Please wait in the marked checkout lanes to ensure proper social distance in the checkout area.
Our staff members have also been asked to comply with the following procedures:
-Staff members are required to wear masks whenever they are within 6' of other individuals.
-Staff is required to wash hands regularly.
-Staff members are required to go home and are encouraged to be tested if they are feeling unwell.
-If a staff member has a family member that is sick, they are encouraged to stay home.
-Staff are encouraged to maintain appropriate distance from guests.
-All staff are regularly sanitizing spaces and items that come into regular contact with people.
-Staff are encouraged to maintain a safe distance from each other, congregation within office areas and other indoor areas is discouraged.
-Collaboration with members of staff to pinpoint problem areas and create new policies and procedures is encouraged.
