Incomparable Impeccable Iseli

Full truckload arrives; captivating conifers and most elegant Japanese maples!

If you’ve been out to the nursery over the last several days, you already know: The Iseli Nursery truck has arrived!  It may be that you are unfamiliar with this premier plant producer.  If you are a lover of plants at all (you know you are), you owe it to yourself to become acquainted.  Iseli Nursery is located in the happening town of: Boring, Oregon.  That is the actual name of the town. It might have been truly boring prior to the arrival of Iseli Nursery, but no more.  The brainchild of Jean Iseli (pronounced as though it is spelled John Isley), The nursery today is a tribute to the memory of a plantsman with a passion.

A couple of years ago on, “The At Home Show with Josh Cary and David Bates”, Brent Furbee, sales rep for Iseli Nursery was in-studio, and discussed many of the things that make their selection of plants special.  Click on the above link to check out just a few of the horticultural specimens that Iseli is famous for.  Here is a link to the video of Iseli Nursery we showed on the studio screen, if you wish to check it out in better detail.

Our list of Iseli plants is extensive.  There’s not nearly enough room to list them all, but here are a few links to some beauties you may find of interest. Arborvitae of note include: Emerald Green, Mr. Bowling Ball, and Rushmore. Compelling false cypress are not to be missed.  Be sure to check out the Thunderhead Black PineWeeping Norway and Avatar Blue Spruce are excellent accents to any garden.

And then there are the Japanese Maples. Whether you have interest in broadleaf cultivars, that are normally larger growing, to the comparatively diminutive laceleaf varieties to some lesser-known miscellaneous types, these boxed beauties are a wonder to behold. No matter which you choose, they are a perfect focal point for your landscape.

Where the beauty of nature meets the artistry of man: Iseli Nursery.
