Extra Crazy With Cheese

October is tree-planting time…do we have them!

I may have mentioned previously that I don’t watch the news.  I don’t read the newspaper.  That little fact recently came out in a conversation, to which the person inquired, “How do you keep up with current events?” “That’s crazy!”  To which I made a deadpan reply, “It’s not just crazy, it’s extra crazy with cheese.”

If you’re walking around on this blue marble, you know with certainty we live in a crazy world.  It’s not just any crazy world: it’s an extra crazy with cheese, kind of world. Personally, I’m able to observe enough of everyday life to draw that conclusion.  Unfortunately, most of my observations have come from within, not from those standing nearby.  Now don’t get me wrong, bystanders do contribute from time to time, but they are largely innocent.  It’s that crazy crowd in my head; that, extra crazy with cheese crowd.  You know who I’m talking about.

The Committee convenes: the um, extra crazy with cheese committee.  I’ve never been able to get an accurate count, but it’s a large group, and they’re noisy.  If you stand too close to me you might become distracted by my inner noise. So, approach at your own risk!  (Strangely, you might not be able to tell by looking at me.)  That is why I don’t need the news; my own Extra Crazy with Cheese Breaking News Network 24/7/365…this just in…

We are ready to help you get the most out of your October gardening efforts.  When you’re planting trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses, or amazing fall color, we know you want to get the most productive growth.  The only chance to prepare the soil is when you are planting.  We take the guesswork out of soil preparation by offering EarthMix® Landscape™Landscape™ is a premium soil conditioner, and through Thursday October 8, 2020 you will get EarthMix® Landscape™ for $7.99* (regularly $11.99)

This Saturday morning, “The At Home Show with Josh Cary and David Bates” will talk flower bulb planting with Jack deVroomen of Marlboro Bulbs!
