SCIENTIFIC NAME: Echinacea x hybrida Sombrero® 'Tres Amigos'

COMMON NAME: Sombrero® Tres Amigos Coneflower

GARDEN SIZE: 18-20 inches tall x 22-24 inches wide

GROWTH RATE: Moderate

USDA ZONE: 4b-9b

EXPOSURE: Full Sun

WATER & SOIL: Prefers well-drained soil with average water requirements. Suitable for rain gardens. Drought-tolerant.

HABIT (FORM): Compact, Upright, Sturdy

FOLIAGE: Green

FLOWERS: Three-color display – peachy-coral, rose, and finally burgundy. Blooms late spring to late summer.

PLANT ORIGIN: Hybrid

WILDLIFE SUPPORT: Supports native bees, lepidoptera (moths and butterflies), and birds (especially finches).

FERTILIZING: Use a root stimulant or 4-3-3 fertilizer during initial planting. Feed lightly in late winter or early spring with compost or organic fertilizer.
