Actually, we have been really fortunate this summer.  While we have had some dry periods, and now a hot spell, they haven’t arrived concurrently. When dry conditions have been present, it hasn’t been excessively hot.  From our plants’ point-of-view, the heat is decidedly more bearable with the rains received the last two weeks, albeit a bit muggy from the human prospective. The weather looks wonderful for next week with cooler and drier air; highs only in the mid-80’s!
