Hands-On Summer Pruning: Tools & Methods

Ben Trest, Landscape Specialist at Bates Nursery, demonstrates proper pruning methods in this 30 minute seminar followed by a brief Q+A period. Ben will walk participants through the tools needed for pruning and how to sharpen, sanitize, and store pruning tools. This is followed by a demonstration of different methods, tips for successful pruning, and what not to do when pruning perennials, trees and shrubs.
