COMMON NAME: Shadblow Serviceberry, Canadian Serviceberry

GARDEN SIZE: 15-20 ft. tall, 8-10 ft. wide



PLANT ORIGIN: Native to Tennessee

EXPOSURE: Full sun to part shade (4 hours or more of sun each day, especially dappled shade)

WATER & SOIL: Prefers moist, well-drained acidic soil. Average water needs; will need additional water in times of drought.

HABIT (FORM): Dense, symmetrical, upright

FOLIAGE: Deciduous. Green turns red in the fall.

FLOWERS: Fragrant white blooms in spring, with few blooms becoming fruit.

CARE: Fertilize in the spring and in November with Plant-tone, Holly-tone, or a similar fertilizer.
