Artemisia abrotanum is a fragrant, deciduous, shrubby perennial with gray-green, feathery foliage. Unlike most Artemisias, A. abrotanum has erect branching and will reach up to 5' in height. The dried leaves of Southernwood can be used as insect repellant.

Flower Color: Tiny yellow, nodding flowers in loose panicles.
